I’ve been wanting to go to Dubai for so long so when I had the chance to do a 2-day layover on my way to India, I jumped at the chance. Honestly, two days is more than enough in Dubai, I was able to experience some nightlife, do the tourist basic things, and eat some of the best food. I’ll definitely be back since there’s so much I still want to do but here’s a quick list of how to plan a short trip to Dubai:
What to Do:
Palm Jumeriah: The infamous palm-shaped island in Dubai – there’s so much to do here but carve out some time to just explore the incredible hotels and beach clubs.

The View At The Palm: A stunning 360 degree views of the entire palm-shaped island with a private suite to enjoy a drink.
Dubai Mall: So much to do here! Check out the aquarium, the water zoo, the ice skating rink, you can spend hours here.
Burj Khalifa: The world’s tallest building and worth a look, I would recommend buying tickets early as the lines get long and they overcharge you when you get there. The sunrise ticket includes a small breakfast and coffee.
Dubai Fountain: Check it out during sunset to get a light and music show.
Desert Safari: Book a safari tour to go ATVing, ride the camels, and go sand surfing – it’s a little long so we opted for the one without dinner but there’s a traditional dinner experience too.

Where to Eat:
Asia Asia: Right on the pier, this place gives me Tao vibes – it’s asian fusion and has fire espresso martinis.

Opa: If you want a party dinner that’s Greek-inspired, check out this place.
Il Borro: Located near a Laguna, it’s Tuscan Italian cuisine in Dubai – I enjoyed the pasta here.

Masti: Indian-fusion food that is located near the beach.
Saya Cafe: My FAVORITE brunch place, completely vegan and very cute ambiance.

Where to Party:
Nammos Beach Club: A Dior-themed beach club with some of the best hookah and vibes I’ve ever been to.

Sky 2.0: Dubai’s infamous club, just be okay with standing because a seat here costs about $200 dollars.

Ce La Vie: Sky-high restaurant with fusion food overlooking the skyline of Downtown Dubai and Burj.
1 Oak: Located in the JW Marriott in Dubai, another amazing place for sit-down hookah and then a club inside.
