5 Loungewear Trends to Up Your WFH Style

This pandemic has changed the way we dress on a day to day 100%. I’ve exchanged my ‘jeans and a cute top’ to ‘cute loungewear.’ For those of you who aren’t on the loungewear hype (yes, they are different than pajamas), you’re missing out. From oversized shirts to matching sets to biker shorts and hoodie pairs, I think I’ve spent more money on comfy wear than I have on regular clothing in years. As we get into the gist of things in 2021, one thing that’s not changing is stay at home wear, so here’s a roundup of my favorite styles and stores that makes working from home…stylish.

1. Biker Shorts Co Ord Set

I am obsessed with the Biker Shorts Co Ord Sets from Missguided, I have a variety of them in different colors with the matching sweatpants as well (in case it gets cold). If you like a more baggy and comfortable stay-at-home look, then this set is the one for you. I highly recommend sizing down (or copping the petite version) if you’re small like me because sometimes the bagginess is a little too baggy. You can also tie the top for a more fitted look.

2. Oversized Shirt

Nothing says comfy like an oversized shirt dress! You can either steal one from your dad or boyfriend’s closet or you can make it fashionable with Zara. It’s so airy and light for a day you’re taking a zoom call with no pants underneath – fool your coworkers today. You can also have double use out of it by adding a belt and some thigh high boots for an evening look. Worth the money!

3. Joggers/Hoodie Set

I literally will not leave the house without wearing a matching loungewear set. I’ve seen some amazing ones at Target (shoutout to my sister for showing me these), but my favorite sets will have to be the joggers and cropped sweater duo from Missguided. The inside is so cozy, it’s perfect for when you want to look cute but comfy when you run errands or just read a book. Here’s the cropped hoodie pictured above!

4. Three Piece Set

Okay, hear me out…the robe is a game changer. Think of this as vacation loungewear, I need to be somewhere on a beach, drinking a marg, and wearing this (one can dream). Jokes aside, I love these three piece sets to feel a little more luxurious while staying in. This is ‘dressing up’ to me now.

5. Oversized Sweater

If you’ve seen me wear this lilac oversized crewneck a billion times, it’s because I live in it. I love how oversized it is — perfect for pairing with biker shorts or regular leggings. I’m usually someone who loves dark colors and nudes but all the pinks, light blues, lavenders for these oversized crewnecks get me.
